How to Make Slime Without Borax

Slime is a slippery, gooey material that feels cool and almost creepy to the touch. It is just gross enough for kids to love it. You can save some money and make slime at home. Typically, you make homemade slime with borax and glue; however, borax is toxic when consumed and as such, isn't the best addition for kids who tend to put anything in their mouths. Moreover, borax can be harsh on a child's sensitive skin and can be harmful to pets.

You can make slime using cornstarch instead of borax and the end result is a non-toxic slime that works just as well. Slime without borax is ideal for your child's birthday party, a Halloween party, a classroom activity or just to entertain the kids on a rainy or dull day.
